Catalog and invoices
Reuse product details while preserving the conditions of each invoice.
Save a product or service
Open Catalog in the merchant console. A catalog item contains a name, unit price, currency, and optional description, image, and success URL. Create an invoice from the item to reuse those details.
Quantity and saved conditions
The total is the unit amount multiplied by quantity, using exact decimal arithmetic. An invoice stores a snapshot of the item's details and price. Editing a catalog item later does not change an existing invoice.
The invoice-from-item API can override the unit amount, currency, and success URL for that invoice. The amount override is the price of one unit, not the total.
Archive an item
Archiving removes the item from the default catalog list and prevents new invoices from using it. Existing invoices retain their saved conditions. Retrying an already created invoice with the same order_id retrieves that invoice even if the catalog has since changed.
A public API integration can list items and read an item. Creating, editing, and archiving catalog items are console operations in the current public API surface.
